Our tutoring prepares high school students to achieve high scores on the SAT and ACT tests. We also help students achieve at a higher level in their high school classes.
We are located in the San Francisco-Bay Area, home to the University of California at Berkeley. For those who do not live in this region, we offer SAT and ACT preparation programs that combine on-line instruction with personal tutoring at a distance. We welcome students of all ethnic backgrounds. We tailor our instruction to the particular needs of each student, building his or her test-taking strengths and addressing areas that need attention.
In each area of the SAT or ACT — reading, writing, mathematics and (in the case of the ACT) science – we help students develop broader and deeper knowledge and skills. Our tutoring enables students to do their very best on the test, and also prepares them to do well in college.
The tutoring we offer is designed to achieve better results than the instruction offered by an agency such as Kaplan or Princeton Review.
Our approach is personal, patient, and friendly.
As a community service, we teach SAT, ACT, and PSAT preparation classes and workshops at UC Berkeley and at local East Bay high schools, including Berkeley High, Head-Royce School, and Skyline High School in Oakland. In the fall of 2012, we will teach a PSAT workshop at UC Berkeley and an ACT prep class at Berkeley High.
